PopChill is a Taiwan-based pre-owned luxury fashion online marketplace. Its key markets are Taiwan and Hong Kong, where is the leader. PopChill contacted Cloudberry to help with the PR announcement of its US$3.1 million Pre-A+ funding round.
One main goal of the campaign was to leverage this news to build exposure for PopChill in the international tech, fashion industry, and retail trade media. Over ten global and regional media outlets reported on the story, including Business of Fashion, the leading trade media for the fashion industry. Four interviews with the founders were arranged with Asia tech and retail media.
This exposure was important as it has the potential to help pave the way for further expansion and achieving their goal of becoming the market leader for second-hand luxury in all of Asia.
